After a disaster with our transport to our other accommodation, the very kind Maun Lodge driver reduced us from the airport and offered to help us get a taxi. After not being able to contact our other accommodation we decided to stay at Maun Lodge and also book to stay there when we returned from our safari trip in CGKR too. Our whole experience was very good, and we felt very well looked after. The food was good in the restaurant and the rooms were very comfy!

I had an incredible three-night stay at the island safari lodge! The highlight for me was undoubtedly the delectable food; the chef's skills were truly remarkable. The staff, from Tumo the bartender and the attentive waitstaff to the diligent housekeeping team, made my stay exceptionally comfortable. The rooms were not only cozy but also impeccably clean. Overall, a fantastic experience that left me thoroughly satisfied.

The room was clean and the food was good. We had a buffet and a la carte. The location was at the Thamalakane river but it was dry when we where there (July). The staff was friendly and helpful. After the stay we booked a 2 night safari in Moremi and Kwai with Planet Safari (right across the street) which was a wonderful experience. After that we came back again at Thamalakane lodge for 1 night.

The Lodge Completely exceed our expectations. The bed was bigger all the beds we had slept on our long trip . For the money we paid it was completely more than we expected . The breakfast was equally great . We wished we had more than just a night spot . Thank you Mokoro

The location outside Maun between the Mopani trees. The friendly staff and the willingness to help out with parking for our car while we were on safari. The many birds and clean facilities. Did I mention the outdoor shower?

The owner is so polite, helpful and tries to do his best to make you feel comfortable and organise your stay and trip as good as he can. He helped us to book a helicopter flight, gathered offers from different Lodges in the delta, found a mechanic to repair our car and gave us a lot of advises regarding shops, restaurants and everything around. Breakfast is very nice. The nature around the property is really nice. It is quiet.
