The position was great and easy walk down the main street to grocery market and restaurants. Staff were excellent and able to supply paper bowls and plates and plastic cutlery for in room breakfast. WiFi was good and easy to log on The bed was comfortable and bathroom clean.

There are three good things: the staff (very friendly and helpful 10/10, location and food). Small lodges are old and have got bad acoustics (thin walls). Usually I avoid such places, but thanks to professional staff and very good food I can recommend to stay there during visiting the Jasper National Park.

The grounds were huge with elk and geese wandering around. The reception and bar area were very rustic. Downstairs there are shops and an Italian restaurant used for breakfast. The rooms are in lodges around the park. Ours was an upstairs room overlooking the lake which was beautiful. The room itself was huge, a big four poster bed, lounge area and large bathroom. However it did feel very outdated and in need of an overhaul, it was rather tired.

Lovely room located in the main lodge. Laundrette available on site for a small fee ($1.75 per wash/drying). Only a short walk from Jasper town centre (approximately 12mins). Staff was very helpful with providing us with change for the laundrette and changing a kettle when it wouldn’t work for us.

The ambience was rustic with the right appeal. The walks needed a little attention where signage was concerned. The views of the mountains were amazing. Every member of staff were gracious and friendly but especially the gentleman on the front desk who took time to tell us the history of the lodge. Love to return as it is something very special.
