We stayed at Uruka for our 1st night in Costa Rica. We wanted to be west of the airport as we were headed to the pacific coast the next day. Our flight was delayed and we didn’t land until after 11pm. I informed Sergio manager and gave him our flight number. He was assuring that no matter how late there would be no problem. We didn’t arrive until midnight. Sergio had chilled bottled water for us. In the morning they gave us a delicious breakfast of rice & beans eggs and toast. We are a family of seven. I asked Sergio if he could arrange a transport for us to Quepos, or if he knew of a better more economical way for us to get there. Sergio came back to me a few minutes later with a transport option and then sat with us and called the bus terminal for their schedule. He told us there was a bus leaving San Jose in five minutes. Sergio called the terminal and arranged for the bus to stop on the highway for us up the road from Uruka. He then drove the seven of us with our luggage to meet the bus and stayed with us until we got on the bus! Uruka is a family run b&b who treat their guests as their own. I can’t thank them enough for the kindness and treatment we received. Thank you Sergio and family!

The room was very spacious with a comfortable king size bed. The place was quiet and safe. We had a very good sleep and could relax before going back to the US, and also the host was very attentive. I would recommend this place for someone who wants to be close to the airport and in a beautiful green peaceful environment.
