We loved the place due to its big surrounding garden, which is stunning and beautifully taken care of, and the team there which is super welcoming. The delicious breakfast was a new experience every day. You can spot wild animals (birds, frogs, spiders ...) on the premises and can hear the howler monkeys and many other sounds at night. I loved the power outlet on the patio. We would definetely come back!

Wildlife everywhere...stayed 2 nights and saw way more here from porch then saw in the NP ..howler and capuchin monkeys at all times of the day huge iguanas agouti birds butterflies crabs so much to see it was incredible..was the highlight of our trip of 20 days so far .. if you are visiting for wildlife THIS IS DEFINITELY FOR YOU!! DONT HESITATE it was amazing. It's a wooden simple private cabin with a comfy hammoc Cahuita NP next door and in centre of town There is a kitchenette you can access fully stocked ...the fans in room are good enough to keep you cool as well as the bug netting around beds was nice

His help was priceless to get our lost luggage back. He also knows the area perfectly with lots of good recommendations, including the restaurant Las Olas, which is amazing.

Everything!!! The hammock on the porch is my favorite part of the entire house. The bench in the porch also turn into a bench with a table, which is genius way to utilize the space. Though it’s on the smaller size for two-bedroom house, there is a big and comfortable bathroom and big bathtub, which is not very common in this part of the world. The kitchen is also very well-equipped with all the appliances you need to cook a good meal. There’s also a washing corner with washing sink and cloth line.

Delphine and Bert were welcoming and have created a fabulous place to stay.
