Each hut has about 6 rooms inside, and the rooms are decorated with indigenous artwork. Each room has its own seating outside. The grounds are beautiful and very interesting to explore, set amidst an archeological site. The restaurant serves delicious food and has lovely open views. The on-site infinity pool is stunning. The lodge is next to a rainforest nature reserve with a river and hanging bridges. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Highly recommended.MargaretFamily with young children

You can get close by your own car, but the last kilometers you need the transport offered by the lodge. Some real jungle trails around the lodge, you should use the rubber boots.

We saw more birds here than during our private 8hours birdwatching tour! Apart from that you can also see basilics and other reptiles around as well. The breakfast was very nice, although on the smaller side. The grounds are wonderful for seeing the wildlife both in the day time and at night. We had howler monkeys hanging out by the parking lot, sloth and her baby close by, great green macaws visiting daily, dart frogs, iguanas, basilisk, unbelievable number of species of bids and more

The focus on preservation and education is exemplary. The rooms are basic but comfortable overlooking the forest. Saw many birds around the paths leading to the lodge and on the walks in the reserve. Restaurant serves simple, tasty food and is reasonably priced.

Always smiling and willing to help and make our stay best possible -Breakfast was excellent! -The lodge and the surroundings are simply beautiful. They have their own small hiking trails, a lovely garden and a chillout area -We can highly recommend the place, next time we would, however, book a room with AC :-)
