Fantastic situation, it is at only 8 minutes walk from the village Mindo on a flat road.... In Mindo we could rent electric bikes and electric quads to get around.... The suites are surrounded of nature ans we were delighted of the colibris, toucans and colorful butterflies flying around us... the pool and the jacuzzi are very clean and pleasant.... the breakfast was very nice as well

The hotel is a piece of paradise, with individual huts located around a small lake. The staff was incredibly nice and attentive and would do their best to accommodate any wishes. The food was delicious, the fairly priced dinner as well as the included breakfast. A small frog pond makes for a fun atmosphere, and there's a nightly presentation at 6:30pm about the frogs and their habitat. A wonderful getaway about 2 hours outside of the capital Quito.

It is set in 150 hectares of beautiful primary forest with trails to walk within. We ate a delicious home cooked meal there on our first night and breakfast was equally good. We walked trails within the reserve and saw monkeys, toucans and lots of other lovely birds. Our accommodation was beautiful, made from locally sourced natural resources. The natural beauty of the lodge and surroundings, and the personal service by the owners makes it a wonderful place to stay.

The room may not have been 5 star, but it was comfortable and close to the action. The birds are all around. you can sit under cover and have birds fly right by you. The location in the middle of cloud forest, just outside Mindo, was beautiful and stress-free. The lodges were well appointed and the beds long and comfortable. Although, there are lots of food options in Mindo itself, we ate at the lodge both evenings; the food was high quality and Ecuadorian, yum! All this would not be possible without the wonderful staff, especially Divina and Camilla.
