We had a very relaxing stay at Mamallacta Lodge. The owner, Rosario, and the rest of the staff were very welcoming from the moment we were picked up from the airport until we departed the lodge. The property is very close to the Termas de Papallacta at a much more affordable rate.

The lodge has multiple areas to relax in and has a varied menu available for lunch and dinner. The breakfasts were lovely and different each day. The spa is also right around the corner. The beds were very comfy. The staff were great, Juan was very kind and attentive to any questions we had. It was a pleasure to stay here.

The staff was kind and welcoming and spoke very good English. They even helped us with transportation to Quito. The area is great for trail running and mountain biking up towards Cayambe-Coca National Park. Check out the rooftop chill area, it has awesome views of Antisana. Great breakfast, the fresh guanabana juice was outstanding! Order it if even if you don't happen to get this one with your breakfast.TodorYoung couple

There is a hotel inside the resort, but it’s very expensive. Mamallacta is a wonderful alternative as it is located just a few minutes walk from the entrance to the resort and is a great deal more affordable. Additionally we found Mamallacta Lodge to be comfortable and clean. The food was good, and the quality of service offered by the staff was exceptional.
