Fully equipped kitchen, great wifi, working fireplace, Netflix, spacious and cozy at the same time. Highly recommend for a unique stay. We enjoyed the sound of roosters in the morning (not too early, which was perfect), and the little patio to enjoy a cup of tea in the mornings. It was a perfect base for exploring the Lake District, and even in mid-winter, the heating kept the place nice and warm!

Only 20 mins walk to town, but also far enough away to enjoy peaceful surroundings. You do have a main rd 3 mins away, but once the door is shut. You're in a own privacy with no sound. Definitely a place we would consider again. Loved it 🙂
