We enjoyed our stay at this lodge very much! It offers a great view and staff is very friendly. At night, we could hear the hippos grazing directly by our tent! 😁 One day we got totally stuck in the deep sand at Mudumu NP and, fortunately were able to call the lodge for help. They were able to locate us after a while and pulled us out! Thanks again for that! ☺️

Really beautiful lodge nestled on the banks of the river. The room was large and very comfortable with a great view of the river where we could sit and watch a family of 5 Hippos just below our room. The bar and lounge area overlooking the river was very relaxing and the food was of a very high standard. We took a morning river cruise with Buzz and it was very special seeing many different bird species up close, crocs and of course hippos just a few feet away from us. Buzz was an exceptionally good tour guide with a deep understanding of the river and such a friendly approach. The entire team of staff couldn’t have been more friendly and fun to be around, spoiling me in my birthday with a very special birthday song!

Our studio was also well equipped, clean and super cozy! The staff is helpful with everything one might need and always attentive of the wellbeing of their guest. A peaceful place to calm down and to enjoy the nature of Namibia.

Close walk to the main lodge which was very beautiful with a fantastic view of the river. Every morning around 8 we had bush-buck grazing in the bushes at the side of our tent.

We had a very relaxing and successful birding boat trip upriver with Alfred. the meals were delicious and the dining and seating areas were beautiful with a huge log fire outside. There were monkeys and birds and squirrels everywhere - very entertaining! The kitchen and waiting staff were very helpful.MaryFamily with young children
