With Etosha National Park Anderson Gate reachable in 26 km, Okutala Etosha Lodge offers accommodation, a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, a terrace and a bar.

We had such a great time. The staff were all so wonderful, the location is magical, and the food was lovely too. Couldn't have asked for more. The drive from the main road is quite long, but with animals the whole way. We were self-driving Etosha but the safari guide came and found us without us asking and showed us on a map the best spots to go and times of day to go there, which led us to some incredible sightings. Sitting having dinner at sunset watching the rhinos, giraffes and game wandering around the watering hole was one of the highlights of our trip. The drive to Etosha is about an hour each way, so I would recommend splitting time between this lodge and a night or two in the park, but you won't regret staying here.

The place was nice, cosy, clean and has a beautiful view from the balcony. The farm had goats, ostriches and chickens. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Both the dinner and breakfast was great. We also had one vegitarian and they always prepared something for him. We were glad that we spent 2-nights.

This place is AMAZING. It is a family business. The food is absolutely delicious. It was really affordable. We went on a 2 day customised safari. It was so affordable. Much cheaper than any other safari companies. The dinner was absolutely amazing. We ate outside under the stars. Best part of our trip to Namibia.

I appreciated the very game-intense drive from the gate to the lodge and the greeting by 'oubass' the giraffe. The pool on the hill (basically advertising this lodge, but sadly not bookable) was amazing and I would have loved to have been able to stay in one of the bungalows up there, alas was informed they were under 'renovation' which was incorrect. The breakfast was plentiful and served overlooking the water-hole, which was a pleasant experience.

Great lodge to stay, good staff- we received super service from Gilbert at reception & at the restaurant, Nadine, Imalda and the chef ( didn’t get the name)- she made sure guests enjoyed the food The restaurant overlooks the watering hole where Rhinos and other animals come. Simone, gave us a description and history of their Rhinos. She is really passionate about protecting Rhinos. As a family of five we only stayed one night driving after Etosha to Spitzkoppe.

Sasa Safari Camp is situated in a peaceful location out of town with scenic surroundings. We were welcomed by the friendly staff, who made our stay memorable with hearty, home-cooked meals. My family and I booked a game drive with them, and the experience exceeded our expectations with such a knowledgable tour guide showing us around Etosha National Park. And a special thank you to the generous hosts and their dogs for making us feel part of the Sasa family. We'd be happy to come back anytime!
