The cabin was extremely charming, but the owners treatment made it even better. We was invited to join the dinner at their house. Delicious crunchy pork slow cooked in oven with potatoes and cabbage... thank you Lina and Audrius* (not sure how to write the name 😄) They explained us a lot of things about the life here in the arctic and Lofoten. Super interesting experience. The cabin have everything you need to enjoy your time there... Nespresso coffee machine and Tea, candles, warm heater... A very pleasant stay!

The lodges are super well designed and have a stunning view to the internal pond. The restaurant is for fine ding and allows you to taste some Scandinavian dishes and local delicacy. Every lodge has a fully equipped kitchen where you can cook your own meals and breakfast. The small behind the lodges allows you to do some northern lights hunting in the right time of the year.

But there are many great spots around the grounds to take amazing photos of the lodges and the mountains. The food at Fangst was exceptional and the staff at the lodge were wonderful. Very approachable and friendly. Hillside hut number 8 had great views and was spacious. It’s just a short 5 minute walk to the local supermarket.

The rooms were cozy, perfectly clean and we got a lodge with a beautiful view towards the sea and the mountains! Bed was comfortable with nice chunky pillows. Staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly with good tips regarding hiking routes and other activities. Definatlely worth the money and visiting!MarttaYoung couple
