This experience, on this island and in the accommodation, was so powerful that it is impossible to describe it in a few sentences. I would start by saying that, those who just want to chill can, of course, also in Konsendas, use kayaks and snorkel for free, but, I would recommend this place, especially for those who are deeply interested in moving and still nature, who want to see and hear , as much as possible, from this wonderful archipelago. The owners of the hotel are extremely knowledgeable biologists and can organize for you, private or group tours, to every end of the archipelago, bird watching, night jungle trek, the best snorkeling spots, the most beautiful island in the whole Caribbean, the choice is wall to wall, take the opportunity and explore all the possibilities from Abel. Konsenda has his own boat, with the best captain in Bocas, it is possible to drive to the mainland and discover so much there by car. I will add that although you are absolutely in the jungle, the bungalow has all the comforts, frogs singing at night and birds singing in the morning are the only sounds, Popa Island is the most remote, the cleanest and the quietest, believe me, in the most beautiful coral gardens, you are the only ones! Well, I have to try to summarize briefly that - if you want to see Boca the way I saw it, book Konsenda, you are like a member of the family, you enjoy a good meal and only and only the beauty of nature. The tranquility of the place was wonderful. It's a 30 min or so boat ride from Bocas Town which is what we wanted since Bocas Town has turned into nothing but a party town with extremely loud music till 3-4 in the morning mid week thru the weekend. So it was wonderful. The staff were exceptional and friendly. Alondra went above and beyond for anything we needed. The food was amazing and fresh. They set up dinner each night on our patio for a nice quiet and intimate dinner. Thank you all for such a wonderful stay!

Cami and her brother were wonderful hosts. Food was absolutely delicious and the views were spectacular. Free kayaks included to take out at any point. Beverages made with fresh herbs from the garden. Lovely experience all around for some relaxation

Absolutely amazing property, nice garden, restaurant, breathtaking seaviews from bungalows and sounds of jungles. Ralaxing atmosphere, great facillities overall - kayaks and supboards available for free, wonderful place for suntaking and swimming in cristall clear sea. Dishes offered by Clarissa very tasty! Service unbelievable! We stayed for four nights and enjoyed every minute there, we would stay even longer there. The transfer from Bocas del Toras can be arranged by Clarissa, she is in contact with guests before arrival. We highly recommend to visit Nathylodge!

Sebastian is a great host and his 4 sweet dogs are very welcoming. Stunning place to relax for few days and use free snorkel, paddle board and kayak. Room is comfortable and Sebastian makes amazing dinners and breakfast 🙌🏽 Defiantly recommend staying here if you just wanna have good quiet time in beautiful place. Great snorkeling right in front of your room!

WOW, we LOVED our stay at Skully’s!! We kept saying over and over how glad we were that we had picked this place to stay, and were sad to leave and go to the next place after 2 days. We even recommended it to a couple we met later, who changed from their original hotel in Bocas town to Skully’s. The location was perfect — away from the town, but we super easy to get to the town by taxi, or as we did the second day, by renting electric bikes from Skully’s. The private beach was incredible — walking right outside our door and seeing the ocean and having lots of beach furniture free to use. They even provided 2 beach chairs in our closet which was such a nice touch. We also loved having the restaurant on site (all of the food was great — would have loved more local options, but we appreciated the convenience and variety) as well as the bar. Both the food and drinks were pricey, but we liked the convenience of them being there. We also enjoyed using the pool tables (billiards) and sitting in the pool/next to the pool when eating. Being able to rent electric bikes right there was great too. Have recommended it to many people since, and would definitely come back!!

Playa Bluff Lodge is an awesome place to spend holiday, we were happy with very friendly and helpful staff, the rooms were very nice and 100% clean, food delicious and we were fascinated by the hotel gardens and the gorgeous seaview. Perfect place to stay at Bocas if you want a really authentic and luxury place at the same time with the best location you can imagine! we will be back!
