The facility is beautifully placed in Kiwengwa, the beach is beautiful as well as the common areas of lounge, bar and restaurant. There is beautiful scenary when having a meal with breathtaking views. The food was lovely especially the buffet on christmas day. The rooms had lovely kangas and a basket for use which I found very useful for the beach and pool. The manager George Maina is also quite helpful and administered first aid when I got a small Injury. That was very much appreciated.

This boutique hotel is situated at a great area and an ideal location allowing easy travel to kendwa/nungwi, Mnemba island and stone town. I felt like I was in Bali being surrounded by so many lush palm trees. I definitely rate it as value for money. The hotel was within less than 5 minutes walking distance to a beautiful beach where I enjoyed a kite surfing lesson. The design of my room was modern and spacious as advertised on the photos. I loved the music on the upper deck during breakfast and dinner that created that positive african energy and vibe. The food was flavourful and tasty. Thank you so much to the kind and friendly staff for making my stay comfortable and relaxed.

Lack of ocean during tides did disturb me before coming, but 2-3 hours of high tide time was enough to swim in the ocean every day. Delicious dishes and cocktails at the restaurant was very important part of vocation. Shortly- Happy with my choice.

Our stay at Z-Lodge was absolutely incredible.Room: beauty of the natural materials used in the furniture and the lovely paintings on the walls. Garden, 2 pools, ocean cliffs- It was like paradise. But the real highlight was definitely the restaurant on the ocean pier. The food was out of this world, and the views were breathtaking. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. We will be happy to plan our next visit!

The beach was nice and private, we were feasting on fresh fruits everyday, highly recommend the seafood soup, and super nice staff all the time. `The rooms are Seaview and with a large restaurant deck over the water. My wife and I wanted to escape to Zanzibar to rejuvenate and relax, really nice cocktails by Sammy at their beach bar. The staff was super helpful and friendly, we can recommend this place to everyone.
