That is the best place for resting after the gorilla trek. We spent there 4 days on trekking, swimming, canoeing and doing nothing. The owners are extremely friendly, helpful and easy going. We really enjoyed the food they served. The place is located in an unspoilt area, distanced from the city and other lodges. Wr highly recommend Amasiko.

Beautiful, peaceful location on an island in Lake Buyonyi. The lodge has its own swimming dock and offers wifi in the reception area/restaurant. Filtered water is also available for refill. The rooms are basic, but spacious and clean and OK for the price.

The location of the lodge is great to relax and forget about the stress and noise of the city. Rustic place yet has all the services (power, hot water and wifi). Eva's and Yosia (the hosts) are so nice and go the extra mile to make the stay special.

Cylia, manager, was very friendly and helpful. We had amazing discussions at a bonfire. She helped me to arrange the best day for gorilla tracking. Amos was also very friendly and told me a lot of interesting things about Uganda. My lodge had amazing view with occasional monkey visit :)

Its a great ecolodge, the scenery there is beautiful and you are directly on lake bunyoni with a killer view. Bathroom is a septic tank and needs to be filled with sawdust, water is in tanks and not running water. It is difficult to get there if you dont have a car. All that said the place is amazing and the staff are super helpful

The staff were absolutely amazing from start to finish. We felt really pampered, especially since we were travelling in covid times and we were given a room upgrade because we were pretty much the only guests. The view over the lake from the top of the lodge was incredible.
