My husband and I stayed at Elephant Home last week and would highly recommend it as a great base to explore Queen Elizabeth National Park and the surrounding local community. Profits from the hotel go directly into funding community projects which the staff is happy to share more information about. The community manager was a great resource in sharing information and we enjoyed both the vanilla farming tour as well as the Kazinga Channel boat cruise. The staff were all friendly and courteous, the food was delicious, and the location is just on the other side of QENP.

It was an outstanding experience. The rooms were huge, very nicely decorated, with beautiful view on Kazinga channel, the staff was very friendly, amazingly helpful and really cared about us. The helped us to organize the boat experience, and also sent back my glasses that I left in the room. The food was delicious. It was our best stay in Uganda. This is a place with a soul, where you feel alway welcomed.

Lovely big room. Very private and quiet. You can see wildlife from the front balcony. Have to walk across the open area to the restaurant escorted at night because of the wildlife which is a bit of fun.

From the restaurant the wifi is reliable and you can observe small birds, a resident elephant moves around the camp.

The cottage we live in was very spacious, the bathroom was huge and the bed was also very large. the lodge is close to the canal so we had the great pleasure of seeing animals every evening/night. A safari through the Queen Elizabeth Park and a chimpanzee hike in the Kalizu Reserve were organized for us. we felt very comfortable and can highly recommended this lodge to everyone.
