Awful awful place. Do not stay here. If you do... Well, I might have a harder time getting a room and/or paying more. So, yeah, definitely do not stay here. 😉

The rooms are very large and really well furnished. My wife and I have dined several times at the house, using the room's kitchen: great experience. I probably had the best sleep in Hawaii on those beds, also thanks to the the fact that in the evening/night in Waimea it gets chillier.

Waimea lodge is located at the center of Waimea, with easy access to shops, Saturday farmers market and restaurants. Very quiet, clean, big and comfortable room, and very friendly staff. Having a coffee machine and a small refrigerator was a real bonus as my husband and I like to have a cup of coffee with half and half when we wake up, and prepare sandwiches for our hikes/days out in nature.DominiqueYoung couple

Spacious, pleasant interior, great location in the middle of Waimea, private bathroom, and a public lanai with outside grill. Staff was friendly and helpful. The lodge is far enough from the main road that only the occasional big truck or motorcycle made an ear-catching noise. The kitchenette was very basic, but sufficient for us to cook breakfast and easy dinner. We grilled burgers in the patio Weber one evening. There is no cooktop, only a microwave. The Wednesday farmers market provided lovely fresh pineapple, papaya, avocado.
