EVERYTHING, the staff Stanley the ranger was amazing, as were all the rest of the staff. The animals, food, accommodation, our fabulous welcome. It was our first visit to SA and a game reserve it was amazing. The highlight of our 3 week holiday was meeting Tahboh ( sorry if not correct spelling) of the orphaned cheetah. One of the most amazing things I’ve done.

The small pool on our veranda was a real treat when the sun came out, and you can look out over the grasslands spotting antelopes and warthogs.

Having spent countless days in the South African bush, this was a step above it all. To have a game ranger like Martin conducting our twice daily drives was the “cherry on the top”. His lovely attitude, enthusiasm and incredible knowledge makes the Safari Lodge a definite return location.

The reserve itself is great, so big it feels like a lot of effort to see the animals but still small enough that we saw all of the animals we could have asked to see. Safari drives were over three hours and we saw the big five and many many other wildlife.
