We were so impressed with the lodge and its facilities, and the rooms are really gorgeous. It holds the appeal of a private game reserve because it feels untouched. There are 2 pools, which are great in the Zululand heat! The reserve is packed with wildlife, and we had a lekker sunset game drive with Rian, spotting a few incredible creatures. We’ll definitely be back for a longer stay.

It is great how this reserve is truly taken care of by the local community. The lodges on the hill are wonderful. Great views. Two nice pools with relaxing. A fire place to make a fire yourself under the amazing stars. Because of the possibilities of self-catering this lodge makes it possible to have an affordable safari experience. We had a great private game drive and drove around ourselves with rare wild dogs sightings. In other words, truly worth the effort to visit!

The rooms are spacious and comfortable and with all the basics that one needs. Very tastefully done.
