The stunning, well-kept vegetation and fauna that surrounds the estate and is visible from the entryway. Calm and peacefulness was a high five for unwinding. From the administrators to the cleaners, the personnel is friendly. The pools were clean and in good condition. Everything about the lodging—cleanliness, furnishings, and view—was perfect. Although it is listed as having one bedroom, it actually has three bedrooms and can sleep up to six people.

The farm lodge is secluded in nature and allows you to totally disconnect from the grid and relax. The kids loved spending time with the donkey and horse, and taking a tour with the property owner. The unit is well prepared for load shedding.

Had an absolutely pleasant time at Black Rock Lodge in Port Edward. The host, Pieter, made us feel welcome from the very minute we stepped into the lodge. Pieter even gave us a room upgrade because we were one of two guests checked in for the night. The room over looked the sea and we could hear the waves clashing against the rocks. The breakfast was amazing, the room was spotless, the bed was soooo comfortable. I would recommend this accommodation to any one looking for an affordable comfortable stay.
