The nearest airport is Reykjavík Domestic Airport, 176 km from the lodge. The view is amazing, the cottage is right next to the sea, overlooking kirkjufell. What I must acknowledge is that our van got stuck in snow drift, because the wind the night before was crazy, CRAZY, and the owner helped us get our van unstuck. It wasn’t easy and he didn’t even know if it was going to work, but thankfully it did. That’s why I’m giving them the best rating.

There is also a stovetop, toaster and a kettle. Very comfy and cosy place. Place was clean. The sauna was very nice. The view from the cabin is amazing. Kitchen is well stocked.

Boasting a garden, The Little House offers accommodation in Bolungarvík with free WiFi and sea views. Featuring free private parking, the lodge is in an area where guests can engage in activities such as hiking and skiing. Excellent communication with owner/staff. Absolutely exceeded our expectations. Cozy, comfortable setting overlooking the fjord. Would gladly stay here again (seriously, I almost don't want you to book this place, just so it's available to stay in the next time we're in Iceland, lol...)
