The candlelit dinner was adorable (just wish we had the BBQ!) and the safari guide is amazing! The food is great all round, and there is also a lot more to do around the area than we previously thought! Perfect yala stay over.

Guests at the lodge can enjoy a Full English/Irish breakfast. We had an amazing stay with the heartwarming family that is taking care of the eco village. We were welcomed very lovely by the host and her daughter. She served delicious Sri Lankan food and was always checking whether everything was fine. The property is really beautiful and gives the feeling of an authentic jungle stay. The huts are small but cosy and mosquito nets are already provided. Sadly we booked our safari tour beforehand but the hosts of the eco village also offer safari jeep tours so we would highly recommend to book it with them. The brother of the host was also very friendly and took care that we get to the bus station on time to catch our bus to Hiriketyia. In total we would really recommend to stay at this place and get the chance to live with locals.

The staff who run the hotel alone with partner very helpful. He is name mr Jayasinha . He did the 100% of guest satisfaction. My travel is very happy and comfortable. my wife as well very happy . Caretaker was very friendly and helpful and gave us lots of good advice as to where to go.

The owner was very friendly and prepared the best food I had in Sri Lanka.

Taragala is such a beautiful and relaxing place to stay overlooking the bird reserve. So many wonderful birds in the garden - I could spend all day watching them from the veranda or many tranquil spots round the garden. Saman was a very attentive and kind host. Food was delicious. Didn't want to leave such a special place.

Just a few steps from the beach where you will basically find no other tourists, which is great! The room is clean and spacious, it has an AC and there is a spacious bathroom. The owner is very hospitable and helpful. They also have a restaurant where you can have breakfast, dinner, drinks, etc. Ideal place for a peaceful stay.

The house was ideal to entertain a large group of people. The location was quiet and peaceful. Appu and his family were wonderful hosts. They prepared all of our meals and everything was delicious.

The bungalow is really comfortable and much bigger than you can expect when looking at the pictures. Nice big room with comfortable bed, nice bathroom and great terrace where we used to spent the evenings. Everything you need was there. The place is close to 2 gorgeus beaches: Goyambokka and Silent Beach. The place is really beautiful and if you like the nature it is the best place for you. Garden is magic. In the morning you can hear birds and see many of them. For us it was great to see peacocks walking but also squirrels, sometimes monkeys. Breakfasts - absolutely amazing . And finally or first of all - the owners are great and they are the unique source of knowledge about Sri Lanka culture.
