The nearest airport is Koggala Airport, 89 km from the lodge. The hosts are amazing!! It's run by two brothers on their parents' tea plantation. The two brothers are helpful, caring, polite, and very eager to show you around in their village. And I will absolutely encourage you to let them show you around. Their mum makes the most delicious meals, better than any restaurants I've visited during my 3 weeks stay. The little house has a beautiful view of the rain forest. I really enjoyed sitting on the little balcony drinking coffee. It's a kettle in the room so you can have coffee or tea whenever you like to. They also arranged a walk in Sinharaja for me, it was a very nice walk, about 4 hours. We didn't see a lot, so if you're interested in birds, I will recommend doing some of the longer hikes. And even go in another gate than the closest one.

Very tasty sri lankan breakfast with fresh fruits. Nice place to seat outside in the garden. Nice beach with a bay to swim (which is rare in Midigama) and with a lot of shadow across the street. Perfect place to spend all hot day till sunset. Very nice and helpful hosts. Thank you very much for everything.

The owners and staff are so kind. The tour of Sinharaja park that she arranged for us was great as well. Food is mostly homemade vegetarian curries, but they have a small menu and will make you other food if you ask. Such a peaceful place to recharge and just spend time in a beautiful, serene location.

Towels and bed linen are provided in this self-catering accommodation. There is a private bathroom with a bath or shower and bidet. A wonderful place to stay. Beautiful house and the host Isuru is very friendly and has created some excellent guest suites. Breakfast and dinner was just delicious too. It was nice to have the kitchen area. We 100% recommend this as a great place to stay!
