Guests at Bjørnfjell Mountain Lodge can enjoy a buffet breakfast. Fantastic location and we were lucky enough to have spectacular views of aurora borealis. We stayed in a lodge; this was a good size, really comfortable and it was nice to put a log fire on. Breakfast and meals were served in the main building... slippers provided. Staff were helpful and friendly, doing some extra 'gritting' on the path to make it easier to get luggage to the lodge.

Staying at Holmen Husky is an experience far away from staying at an ordinary hotel. We want our guests to get closer to nature and to get a taste of what it is like to live close to the elements.

Holmen Husky is a small, family-run business who has been working with dogs since the 80s. Some of us have even grown up in the dogyard and on the sled. It is much more than an activity or an experience that has got us all addicted. it’s a feeling that must be experienced. Lovely small room. We stayed here 2 nights and this was the perfect amount to experience the area and lodge properly. Fantastic staff and lovely evening meals. Obviously, the highlight is the 50+ dogs on the property!

10 km from Alta City and 500 metres from Alta River lies Trasti & Trine Boutique Hotel. Surrounded by forest, the location offers good hiking, skiing and biking trails straight from the cottage door. There is both free WiFi and free on-site parking. EVERYTHING! The place as such is very inspiring, kind people, nice facilities, you just have to experience it on your own. If you like nature, organic food, friendly atmosphere, this is the right place for you to stay at. We loved the tour de dog kennel where we got so much love from the sled dogs and PUPPIES! Thank you for a wonderful stay, we'll surely come again.

We had an insane show of the northern lights right outside our window!! For the price of two people joining an aurora lights tour, you could be in the comfort of your own bed and watch them right outside! The staff was amazing, they went above and beyond throughout our stay. Super friendly and have great tips on things to do!

Guests at the lodge can enjoy skiing and cycling nearby, or make the most of the garden. Very nice view to the sea and village. There were also many animals, what was nice to watch, example sheeps, reindeer, fox. The cabin was nice and modern. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

After a day of hiking, skiing or fishing, guests can relax in the garden or in the shared lounge area. Hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming. The house was clean and we took advantage of their kitchen and board games. They even invited us to have dinner with them in their barbecue hut. I cannot recommend this place enough! This was by far the best place we stayed at throughout our trip in Norway.

The igloo is nice and cosy, food was very nice and we also enjoyed the sauna and the first snowmobile tour of the season with Thomas. It is a very special place and unique experience. Highly recommended!
