The lodge was beautiful and the location was stunning. Everything we needed and more for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Carla was a warm and welcoming host and gave us lots of great information about the island. We are already looking forward to coming back in the future :)

The ecolodge is a beautiful place to stay completely in nature. The lodges are very comfortable and well equipped. The whole team is very friendly and helpful, and Carla at the front desk, was amazing always with a smile, and welcomed us very well giving us so many tips about the Island (Made our stay even better!). Just next to the lodge there is a beautiful trail worth exploring.

The property was very different than your average hotel / island stay. It was a comfy boat property lodged in the centre of the excitement in the city.

This is a beautiful old home that is loaded with charm. The living room has the most incredible view out onto the bay, and has the feel of an old mariners lodge, with wood paneling and bookshelves along the walls. It is located minutes walk away from the historic center. The hostess Mafalda was lovely and very helpful. We could not have asked for a lovelier place.

Great location with beautiful view at the ocean. Friendly and helpful owner. Lodge fully equipped wit all necessary equipment for comfortable rest.

It was one of the guest lodges we’ve had in Portugal. I loved how the fortress was utilized to make it a unique place to stay.

The location in the middle of (and with respect to) the nature, very cosy lodges, the home made superb breakfast and the very friendly/helpfull staff

ALLuar Lodge exceeded our expectations in every way. There are no words to adequately describe such gracious hospitality and the care they take to make sure guests are comfortable. And those breakfast picnic baskets, which last through lunch. 👌😀

Helen and the staff were very friendly. The room was large, and the bathroom was as well. When we had to leave very early to go on hikes, they offered the possibility to leave breakfast in our room the day before, which was excellent. I recommend this lodging.

The resort is beautifully conceived from the hotel, all the way down to the beach. The Lodges are clean, private and offer a nice view. Nice to have the surf club adjacent to the hotel. The food menu offers excellent choices though Japanese food is not always with Japanese ingredients.
