Waterfront Lodge is a 10 minutes’ walk from central Nuku'alofa, and 3 minutes’ drive from the Royal Tomb. Fua'amotu International Airport is a 30-minute drive away. Its location, and the staff. The restaurant has great food.

The family-run Green Lodge is an eco-tourism business set in the heart of a typical Tongan village, just 5 minutes’ drive from Nuku'alofa. Each fully furnished home has a TV, cooking facilities and hot water. Guests enjoy free fruit, cereals, tea and coffee. Excellent clean 3 bedroomed house with all facilities. Solomone, (the owner), Nina (cleaner) and their families were friendly and helpful. Location needs a car however we managed with Solomone's son taking us into Nuku'alofa one day and having an excellent around the island tour with Nina's daughter, Moisy, acting as our driver and guide on another day. Can highly recommend.
