From the reception staff, to all staff to the lodge. Very attentive touch that was. The beds were so comfortable! I would highly recommend staying before, during or after your safari or staying all together while you are in Arusha!

The nearest airport is Arusha, 35 km from the accommodation, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. We wanted a comfortable and budget-friendly place to stay after 16 hours of flying, before and after a birding tour of ARUSHA NATIONAL PARK, and prior to the start of a safari to the larger parks. Kilimanjaro Eco Lodge fit the bill perfectly. Edith, the owner and host, saw to our every comfort and need. Our rooms were well-appointed, clean, and spacious. Meals were served home style and delicious. We enjoyed having tea and soda in the outdoor bar each evening. Edith has literally built the property and gardens with her own two hands and her pride shows and it is well justified. The views of Mt. Meru are as memorable as the warm welcome you receive from Edith and her staff. Give Kilimanjaro Eco Lodge a try if you are staying near Arusha before or after a safari.

It truly provides a sense of immersion in the heart of nature, with wildlife roaming freely in the vicinity. The atmosphere at the lodge is both tranquil and captivating. One of the most memorable experiences during my stay was the walking tour near wildlife animals. It's an experience that I will cherish forever. Last but not least, the food at the Original Maasai Lodge is truly premium. The culinary offerings are a delightful blend of local flavors and international cuisine, prepared with care and presented beautifully. Each meal was a culinary journey that added to the overall experience. With mountain views, Sanna Eco Lodge is situated in Arusha and has a restaurant, a concierge service, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. The rooms are clean and confortable, with a lush green window view. The staff are nice. Anitha changed a room for me, took my belongings there, and folded up my clothes while I was out. It makes me feel at home, and reminds me of my mother who often tidied up my room and folded up my clothes when i was a teenager. Appreciate it.

A car rental service is available at the lodge. We liked the lodge - very nice view, comfortable, enough hot water, good food in the restaurant, friendly staff, nice to sit in the pation and rest.
