The lodge offers a buffet or Asian breakfast. We had a wonderful stay here at Maison de Hill Home. The owners have great decor taste, offering a funky and unique environment to settle in. The view from their property is insane, with their garden overlooking clear mountains. The room was very homey and comfortable. The food here was the best. They are very good cooks and we highly recommend the family dinner. Breakfast and coffee was also exquisite! You will be loved by 3 cuddly dogs who are very friendly. There is a cat as well who hides from one of the dogs so we did not get to meet her. Feels like a home away from home in every way. Thank you Maison de Hill!

If you had asked me right after we arrived in the dark after 10 hours on a motorcycle what I thought of this place, I would tell you there’s no way it was worth it. But when the lovely staff labored on a home-cooked meal for us at 8pm and we got a good night’s rest on a soft bed under a princessy mosquito net and woke up to incredible views, my entire attitude changed. Having to exert considerable effort to get there made it that much more rewarding and worthwhile. Our bungalow was situated on top of a (steep) hill that allowed for privacy, the views were gorgeous, and the extra outside toilet was also a huge thrill.

The dinner in the evening was nice (we chose vegetarian) and plenty for two people (we couldn't finish it). Beds were very soft and comfortable

The nearest airport is Wenshan Puzhehei Airport, 166 km from the lodge. Very convenient location, an authentic house with a nice view to the nearby rice fields. We were upgraded to a bigger room for free since ours was somehow occupied - we enjoyed the large terrace.

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. The homestay is an awesome place. The spot and nature are pristine. All the staff and the owners are very humble and supportive. The facilities are super clean with unique design. The food is organic and straight from the farms. So delicious and healthy veggies. The place surrounded by green spots and water in walking distance. There is a traditional bath with local herbs which you love. I highly recommend it. I'm sure it won't be the last time. Thanks for the warm chimney.
