A barbecue is available on site and both fishing and canoeing can be enjoyed within close proximity of the lodge. Everything was wonderful. It felt very private, had a gorgeous little wooden patio right by the river for hanging out and watching the birds. The room was very comfy, tastefully decorated, and had everything we needed. There is also solar power that kicked in during load- shedding, and the wifi was great. Sophia was very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed paddling on the river on our last day.

We are located on the safest routes to and from Addo Park, including leading up to the lodge. We are centrally located in Addo area between the Garden Route and R62, for those planning round trip back to, or coming from Outdshoorn. If you do travel from Port-Elizabeth, please drive via R75 to us. We loved our stay at Harmony, was a nice ending of our South Africa trip! Tent was clean and nicely decorated, had a great view, and outdoor shower was a treat. Mike and Marietjie are really nice host. They gave us tips on visiting Addo. We also went to Daniell Cheetah project nearby based on their suggestion and it did not disappoint. The homemade dinner/braai was delicious! I would recommend this place if you visit Addo area. Bushman Sands Golf Course is 35 km from Ikwanitsha Lodge. The nearest airport is Chief Dawid Stuurman International Airport, 85 km from the accommodation. Ingrid made our stay absolutely perfect!! We were greeted by zebras and ostrich as soon as we entered the grounds - already quite the experience! Our room had amazing views and was very comfortable and clean. We had dinner on the property our first night which was one of our favorite meals of the trip! We did the Addo park, Schotia Safari and a Giraffe walk all by recommendations from Ingrid and we had the perfect trip.

Port Elizabeth is 35 km from Charihandra Game Lodge, whereas Addo is 19.4 km away. It was all wonderful. Beautiful place, delicious food. We were lucky to see the giraffes and others animals near there.

The Silver Thorns Restaurant at the main lodge serves contemporary and culinary cuisine. Room service and special diet menus can be requested. Drinks and snacks can be enjoyed at the bar. The lodge also hosts regular wine tasting and food pairing. The grounds were really beautiful with cottages surrounding artfully landscaped grounds that were filled with birdsong. The chef was truly excellent and we enjoyed our breakfasts and dinners. Our park ranger, Paul MacKenzie, was outstanding. He knew the wildlife really well and had many tales from his interesting life. Rafa, one of the elephants blessed us with his presence at the gate on the day of our game drive and were fortunate to spend a lot of time with one of the lions. The Park concession was very good because it gave us long views. In contrast, during our solo drive from the bottom of Addo to the top, there was large bush obscuring views. I found the staff at River Bend to be really friendly and enjoyed my many conversations with them, particularly time spent talking to Jenna. I also enjoyed talking to Gladys, who worked in the kitchen. She and I share an interest in sewing with Shweshwe. We highly recommend River Bend. It is truly a 5 star experience.

The lodge offers game drives through Addo National Park, game walks on the property and guided sundowner walks. Everything was superb and exceptional. A beautiful place to stay, the views are breathtaking, the rooms impeccable, the staff friendly and helpful and both breakfast and dinner up to highest standards. We can only recommend this great location

Each of the stone and thatch lodges at Woodbury Lodge have a private deck with panoramic views of the game reserve. They are all air-conditioned and have en suite bathrooms. The lodges are connected by stone walkways tucked away into indigenous trees. I like the experience of sleeping inside the reserve. Very nice! The people working there are top! Kudos!

The Lodge is situated on a private game reserve, which boasts over 17 species of wild game animals, including a large family of giraffes. Safaris and day trips can be arranged.

Valley Bushveld Country Lodge serves authentic South African cuisine. During cold winter evenings, guests can enjoy a drink in the lounge with a huge fireplace. Nice property, comfortable rooms and very friendly staff! Enjoyed the Giraffe Safari and both breakfast and dinner.
