Located in Germiston, 17 km from Johannesburg Stadium and 19 km from Observatory Golf Club, Ikamu's lodge provides accommodation with free WiFi, a garden with an outdoor swimming pool, and access to a fitness room. I stayed at Ikamu's Lodge with my husband and daughter for a week, we came to Johannesburg for a wedding, the place is actually better than the photos. The owner Daivd is very helpful and friendly, the place is very clean, he has a whole team of staff to look after the place. We took lots of good photos of the African decor, while we are actually in the city. There are shops and restaurants just around the corner, free parking is available and the electric gate is very convenient to get in and out of the place. The electric blanket and log fire were lovely (we went in the winter, cold at night). We will definitely stay there again next time we go to Johannesburg.

Dinokeng Game Reserve is 11 km from Crimson Bush Lodge. The nearest airport is Wonderboom Airport, 45 km from the accommodation. I loved the peaceful relaxing atmosphere and waking up in the morning and literally seeing wild animals from my window! It was so relaxing! Johan is the most friendly and interactive host! My mother and I booked onto one of his game drives at the lodge staring at 5AM and I cannot recommend it highly enough! It was the most incredible experience we have ever had ! Honestly its the best value for money and the next time I am back in south Africa I will go straight back there!
