A great location in the middle of the Cederberg area. Mount Ceder also offers guided tours on their private property. they are really worth it! We did the olive tour and the 4hrs guided walk. The last one was truly amazing. The braai pack you can order is a great choice! The view from the restaurant terras is unforgettable. The cottage (Peperboom) was big and very well equipped with 2 private terraces. The swimming area in the river is very nice and wel kept (green lawns, benches, clothing hangers,...) and is in walking distance of the cottage.

What an amazingly beautiful place, so isolated and peaceful. We watched the Springboks beat the all Blacks in the comfort of this beautiful home. We had a barbecue fire lit and drank some great South African wine while we did do. What a magical evening. I would highly recommend this place. This was a lovely space for my wife and I to enjoy as we were travelling for ministry. The owners live on site in a separate house. They are very friendly, but not intrusive. The staff does an excellent job in cleaning. The security gate was a welcome feature, although we never felt we were in danger in the area. If given the opportunity, we will gladly stay there again.
