It wasn't top floor for the price, but it was a lake view. Food in restaurant was lovely. Clam linguini excellent and chef very attentive to my allergies and cooked to perfection.

The attention to detail in the accommodation was 5 star. Denise was a great host and could not do enough for us. Very sociable and friendly. It is self-catering, and very private. We took the ‘breakfast’ option of fresh produce. Fantastic. High end products throughout, very comfortable beds. We have already booked for a return visit. Exceptional hosts with a warm, relaxing and luxurious stay. This place is a must stay if you’re visiting the area. Nothing like conventional hotels, has the vibe of a high end European luxury hotel. Beautiful rooms within the estate to sit around and enjoy the provided port while reading, relaxing and playing the piano. Everything from the linen to breakfast to toiletries is high end.
