To me, top priority wherever I stay is cleanliness, then comfort and service. The Modernist ticks all the boxes. Such a pleasant stay. Lovely interior (modern and sleek), great location, fantastic staff, super-clean. I loved my "M"-sized room that came with a cute balcony (and a nice view, at that). Truly enjoyable stay. I highly recommend The Modernist and would absolutely stay there again.

Even for 1 night we really enjoyed our stay at Egon! From the super polite staff to the amazingly decorated and super clean room, the central yet quiet location and the tasty restaurant on the ground floor, this place is a true gem in the city of Athens. The Penthouse is super luxurious, full of marble finishing inside out. The room is fabulous and much more spacious and comfortable compared to other five star options in Athens. The location is great with many restaurants nearby. The hospitality is first class. Would definitely place it at the top of the elite and high-end properties of Athens.

Helped us with the local addresses and guiding us with the official website to book our Acropolis tickets as well. Superb room on the 7th floor with a nice view of the city. Perfectly located on the street full of cafes and restaurants and so close to Psirri and Monastiraki square. Wonderful experience and deserves a 5 stars

Very clean and comfortable. The location was very convenient- many restaurants and markets nearby and Malls within a few minutes drive. We rented a car so the private indoor parking was a significant advantage.
