Very clean, cozy, good location. The gardens looked perfect, they are doing a great job do keep the facilities gorgeous. Tongariro alpine Crossing 50 km away, for those in for fishing Tongariro river is just behind the corner as you simply get out from the lodge there.

Creel has a rustic feel but it's comfortable - but not so luxurious that a fisherman or young family wouldn't feel at home. The cabins, angled away from one another, give an impression of seclusion and look over lovely gardens. And there's a lovely little Cafe on the doorstep.

Lounge chairs were a bit uncomfortable. Bed was good as was bathroom. Grounds were lovely. Quiet and peaceful.
