This is a stunning hotel. Rooms are beautiful. Location is excellent in the old town just a five minute walk to the river. No need for public transport, you can walk everywhere. Probably one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. Breakfast has a great selection. Tea, coffee and flavoured water and pastries available 24 hours in the lobby, no charge for this. Spotless hotel and staff were very welcoming and helpful. Would highly recommend the Icon Duplo Ribera to anyone visiting Porto. You will not be disappointed.

They gave us the warmest of welcomes and always addressed us by name.     The location here is superb . As first time visitors it took a while to get our bearings but the apartment is ideally situated with great views yet quiet due to its height . The outstanding feature however is Ana the host who genuinely could not have helped us more . She met us , was extremely helpful with check in/out and many tips for local knowledge . Additionally she made herself available for communications even out of office hours . I would thoroughly recommend any of her properties after this stay

    You can not fault this amazing place. 2nd time here I 6 months. Perfect! We stayed I room A4, penthouse suite with amazing views over Porto. A very special thanks and mention for 2 amazing staff. Namely Juiletta and Luiz:) It is now our Go Back Too place when in Porto. As the name suggests it's right in front of the fabulous Bolão market and very close to all amenities. 5 stars :)))

    From the moment we stepped out of the taxi we were treated to 5 star service, from the start of our stay to the end. Great location, excellent hotel & breakfast, superb room. The staff were outstanding, couldn't do enough to make the most of your stay with them and get the very best out of Porto. The GA Palace has only recently opened and a very Hugh service was offered. Thank you to to one and all.

    The staff were exceptional- it was our Pearl Anniversary and my brother tried to purchase champagne for us and instead they provided it complimentary with gorgeous chocolates and red berries. They couldn’t have been nicer. The breakfast was superb - a real 5 stars! The bedroom was really comfortable and the bathroom and shower are fabulous. The location is excellent and there’s plenty to see and do in Porto. We will definitely be back to the Portobay. Thanks to all the wonderful staff and management for a truly great weekend!

    One of the best hotels we have stayed in for years—great attention to detail. The food was terrific and the staff went out of their way to please. Guest relations manager, Veronica Amadio, handled any request with a smile and was ever-present. The breakfast was superb! Where do you find Moet & Chandon champagne and fresh Oysters on the breakfast buffet? Truly 5 stars...The rooms are a bit on the small side but were beautifully designed and comfortable.
