There was even a rainhead shower option. Bed was comfortably firm and there is a heat pump in the room if needed. Breakfast was already prepared and included a variety of options. Highly recommended!

Breakfast was extremely thoughtful and delicious. The whole stay exceeded our expectations. Views from the room are incredible, especially if you catch the sunrise. Location is great, can walk to centre of town. Do note: the driveway is very steep and long (it is a shared driveway for multiple houses) so walking back up may be difficult for some. This was our best accommodation in New Zealand. Wish we could have stayed longer! Thanks Maree and Mike (and Dougal)!

Lots of things to see close by including wineries, chocolate manufacturers ... may need a car. Great bar and restaurant downstairs. Central to everything. Accommodation was worth the expense; staff were friendly and accommodating.
