The hotel was hands down one of the best I have ever stayed at. It’s located about a 7 min walk up from Haad Rin beach, but if you don’t want to walk you can get a lift from the staff anytime you need. The views are spectacular on both sides, and I think they may just have the best view of the Haad Rin beach cove. Having your own personal pool is next level. The room is modern, big and comfortable. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Book this hotel you won’t regret it. The staff were so helpful in giving us advice on how to get around to other parts on the island too. Private villa with our own pool that was cooling also when the infinity pool and sea were too hot. Beautiful and well-kept garden. This area sometimes has too low seawater level due to tide but in front of our hotel it was always possible to go into water. Very nice staff! As we stayed 2 weeks we got to see fireworks 3times.

Modern interiors and floor-to-ceiling windows feature throughout the stylish rooms at Buri Rasa Village Phangan. All well-appointed non-smoking rooms have a flat-screen cable TV and sofa seating area. We asked about moving to an ocean view room and they were so wonderful, accommodating our upgrade request immediately and without charging us extra! Staff were attentive, friendly and just super nice to deal with! The location is gorgeous and our stay was everything we were needing and wanting on this vacation. The daily breakfast was delicious as well.

Suites and villas are elegantly decorated in a modern Thai design. Situated in a garden setting, rooms are fitted with a 55-inch LCD TV with Apple TV, home entertainment system and iPod docking station. After a rough year, we (a family of three, mom and two 12-year old girls) really looked forward to this holiday. The resort is absolutely fantastic, above expectations. We stayed in a Garden Suite with pool for 11 nights, and moved to Ocean Garden pool suite for the last 3 nights. The Garden suite was beautiful, spacious, with a lush garden and felt very private, in the back row of the resort. The plunge pool was great after a long day at the beach, and the sound of the crickets and frogs as the sun sets is the true sound of Thailand. The Ocean Garden Pool suite at ground floor was stunning, same indoor size and look as the Garden suite, but it has an outdoor shower area, big outdoor daybed and pool facing the sea.Two steps, and you are on the beautiful beach. The beach is quiet, clean and safe. The resort has a welcoming feeling, the staff is extremely helpful and friendly, and you feel very well taken care of. The lush surroundings, use of wood and details like the fishpond along the boardwalk makes it very authentic, cozy and inviting. The food was excellent (and if you asked for spicy, you get spicy, not tourist-spicy), the staff was very sweet, efficient, and made you feel relaxed. The poolbar made great drinks, and served ice-cold beer (also made mocktails for the kids - Virgin Mai Tai was highly appreciated by the girls). The night before departure one of the girls' precious bunny (a 12-year old bunny!) got lost inside the bedsheets and went away with the laundry. It was a total disaster, but the staff found him - and he was safely returned to my daughter! We will return, and highly recommend staying at Anantara Rasananda Koh Phangan :)
