The breakfast was very good. Many places in the USA do not provide English Breakfast Tea and cold milk and real sugar. These are essential daily items for English people. Tea can be ruined with half and half and creamer, so well done! The actual selection at breakfast was good and served all tastes. The reception staff were very cheerful and helpful. In particular Merry took custody of something I had a friend drop off and looked after it until I arrived.

In fact, my girlfriend specifically said, "I think I'm too old for this hotel." Friends, the BAR and the CHECK-IN are the same place! There are games around the bar area, so it feels more lounge-y, with floor-to-ceiling windows and draperies. The staff was absolutely incredible. The rooms are a little small but not uninhabitable, and they don't sacrifice space where it matters (like, the bathroom is plenty spacious, the bed is great, the TV is great).

But this time they were exceptional. I called the day before I was going to check in to request if I can be upgraded to a room for 3 people instead of 2, since we needed to bring our son along. And the reception was so good about it, at no cost they gave me a room with 2 queens, but these were two separate rooms within our suite. Such a delightful experience. Walked to our Doja Cat concert, walked to dinner, to a brewery and a hot chocolate place… nothing felt too far. Loved the complimentary breakfast (this is a big reason as to why I’m writing a review, I NEVER review hotels lol) The staff seemed so nice and seemed to actually care. The location was very good and easy to access. I prepaid for my stay through my booking company and the check in was easy. I liked the layout of the room and the many amenities of the room.
