Beautiful building in the countryside just outside Bristol. Great location for where we needed to be the next day. As an Accor member, we even got a free glass of wine.

The location was great; the staff Judith, Peter and Noemi were fantastic!! Amazing team. The bed was very comfortable. Nice detail with the fruits in the morning as the restaurant area was closed. I moved here after staying at the Mercure where my back hurt after a horrible mattress and the staff was rude , so coming here and finding a super nice and friendly staff plus a comfortable bed was a big relief.

The bed was great according to my partner. We had gone to 'OMG its the Church' and had sinned in so many of the bars of Bristol. I did not feel the bed. I only surfaced at 10 AM and when remembering that breakfast was free rushed down to see if breakfast was open at 10:30 - Breakfast was still on! Through to at least 11 AM that Sunday. Some sections were out but staff kept filling. And a great selection. So a late free breakfast from a Saturday night out in Bristol is a definite plus. Black out blinds were excellent.

Friendly and helpful staff but check in still took 20 mins. The room was small but had some nice touches, apart from the wobbly bedroom table. Lovely quiet location despite being close to the centre of town. Breakfast was excellent, but priced accordingly.

Comfort of bed and the space of the room was great. There were a few things with the room, but I stayed for one night, so maybe in the future, if I stayed longer, I probably would have notified the staff more about a few things. But I do love mercure hotels in general.

The hotel was central to the local bars and restaurants and although the room was clean and comfortable, it was not worth £160/night. I have stayed in other Mercure Hotels across the county which have been far better value for money (I.e. more spacious bedrooms, more contemporary design etc).

Breakfast was the best I had eaten at a Mercure hotel. The room was as it was in the pictures, and the staff were super helpful.
