This hotel is presented as 5 star but I disagree. I stayed at the Mercure across the road in the same visit and found it must more luxurious. This is a pleasant hotel, good for a night but not much more beyond that. Great views of bustle Bangkok. Ease of access to the shopping district with most tings at your fingertips.

Had a great stay at Mercure. Large soft bed and pillows. Close to MRT and BTS. Free hourly shuttle to MRT. I commend the staff on the ground floor!

Location is perfect : MRT blue line and BTS line. It makes it very easy to go easily pretty much everywhere (including reaching the ARL to go to the international airport), which is very pleasant when you don't have much time in BKK. The room and the facilities were nice and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was correct. Didn't enjoy the pool but was according to pictures (not the biggest pool ever BUT really much enough to get a quick refresh with a nice view)

Our room was ready earlier than the usual check in time, which we were grateful for. We had the spectacular city view which we asked for. ALL the staff were excellent, very polite, helpful & patient. Excellent English. Breakfast was delicious every morning with a fantastic range of food & view. Hotel is so close to Sky Train line. So much to do in Bangkok & we got around very easily using this! We had a fantastic stay in Bangkok & The Mercure Hotel.

The housekeeping lady at lev 16 is very friendly and her work is clean and neat. The tour agency lady at Mercure hotel lobby is very friendly and she arranged for me a dinner river cruise with a birthday surprise. The hotel also set birthday surprise with cake and balloon. Overall my Bangkok stay was nice and safe. I will stay at IBIS BANGKOK again.

Mercure hotel was in great location for bars and resturants easy to get to nana BTS

Though the rooms are nothing exceptional, it’s a perfectly comfortable hotel. Excellent location, great breakfast and friendly staff. For a fee you can use the rooftop pool of the Mercure hotel (same building).

Perfect location, walking distance to BTS Phrom Phong with EmQuartier and Emporium. Same building like Mercure hotel. Excellent breakfast for 212 THB gross. On top is the Vue rooftop bar. We will come back again...
