It was set in a beautiful area, just outside town, and the front lawn had a gorgeous view of the forests around it - what’s not to love? The staff were also so friendly and had some great tips for hidden places to check out around the area of Lake Superior which I loved seeing.

The Manager, Cliff, was a gentlemen in every way. We paid more for a fancy hotel in Thunder Bay, but did not get the service and ammenities of Algoma Motel.

Friendly staff going out there way to make you feel welcome. Rooms are super clean. Bed is so comfy. Because of our first night there we stayed there on our return trip and the staff already had the extra pillows I requested on my first night in my room. That is just the kind of customer service to make you come back. From now on I will always stay there on my travels.
