The hotel is in need of an upgrade in places but this is ongoing. Very clean room and excellent breakfasts. We ate in the hotel both nights and the food was good with big portions and not expensive. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Really, it's the loch that makes it, plus the beautifully-crafted rooms which are furnished to a good standard. Rooms 6, 7 and 8 are the best, with their private lochside decking. Everything else is just fine - the food is good, the drinks are fine and the staff are friendly.
