We spent two nights and wished we had more time.Paihia is a quaint and beautiful little town in the Bay of Islands. The motel was within very easy walking distance of the town with several resort choose from. The included breakfast was phenomenal and served right to our door right at the chosen time. We highly recommend Paihia Star Motel for value and a wonderful stay. It was well appointed, clean and friendly and the beds most comfortable! Thank you Trevor!!!

We had been travelling for a while staying in hotel rooms. it was nice for our kids to have a seperate room in the apartment and they slept the best here during our trip. It was nice to have some home comforts as well with the owners adding a box of toys for our toddler and wifi for our teenage daughter.

The 4.5 star Kerikeri Park Lodge is just 4 km from Kerikeri Golf Club and 3 minutes' drive from Kerikeri's town centre. Paihia is 20 minutes' drive away. Cape Reinga Tours pick up from the motel on a daily basis. A very clean, quite place to stay.

Bounty Motel also offers a guest laundry and luggage storage facilities. Free parking is provided on site. The location was awesome! The suite was perfect for us to reset, launder our clothes nearby (although there are laundry facilities on site, we just did not have NZ cash), a kitchenette for us to have breakfast and plunger coffee in the am. It was fantastic! Would def stay again. Could walk everywhere. Also, nice and quiet- we slept well.
