Quaint motel turned into a decent, kind of a boutique hotel model
This is a 1950 motel that has seen no renovations. Staff were non existent on check in and mono syllabic the next morning. Do not expect an Aloha welcome. If you need a bed and shower and nothing else this place would be a value at one quarter the price.
What we like is close to the airport and small and clean. No elevator but one does not pay a big price, Good value for 1 a nightstand then on to our timeshare. We can save 300 to 400 dollars by flying on Friday out of Portland direct to Lihue at 7AM. The motel is all we need for that 1st night.
Prepackaged pastries, good coffee, prepackaged juices
We loved our stay at the Kauai Shores Hotel. It’s a simple hotel with great staff in a convenient location. Walking distance to the coconut market. Lava lava beach restaurant is where we enjoyed most of our dinners. Is not fancy but it’s clean, conveniently located, quiet, beautiful garden, I spent hours going around taking pictures of the beautiful orchids and flowers. The beach is beautiful and you can use the chairs from the hotel. Ample free parking or valet if you want. 2 pools and a hot tub. Plus, really nice and friendly costumers 😁
Great value for money, nice rooms, free parking.
I loved the friendly staff, the beautiful and convenient location, the cleanliness, and the sweet mascot, Mango! During this visit, we stayed in this motel, a high-end resort, and a beachfront airbnb, and we would 100% choose Kauai Palms every time! Thanks for a wonderful time!
Cheap but clean. Simple but has everything. Free parking and accessible area with restaurants and facilities
