Bousui - really magnificent ryokan hotel which takes special place in my wife’s and mine hearts😄! Room was very big, all over traditionally designed, very atmospheric and comfortable! Hot spring baths were amazing too: luxurious, very comfortable and with beautiful sea views! Premium gazebo was especially great! Really worth it! Employee, who helped us in room was very attentive, helpful and made all we could need to take all the best from our staying! Special thanks for pleasant conversations and tons of very interesting information! You made our staying unforgettable! Additionally to traditional breakfast, we asked for Kaiseki dinner - it was third Kaiseki we got, and truly, the most delicious and impressive! Fish was as fresh as it is possible, serving was full of beautiful and very interesting details! Last, but not least part of our rest was massage in award winning GECCA SPA: to be honest, Suzune gave me greatest massage I ever got! She was so attentive and diligent, made message with so masterpiece, that I’ve got extreme pleasure and relief! More over, it was first time when I feel, that therapist don’t just do it work, but really cares of me!🙏🏻 Btw, my wife never liked massages, but even she was really impressed by Suzune’s work! A quiet and small place located near ocean, although building outside is old style but room renovated modern. Room has good view, you could see the sunrise too. Food is excellent, firstly was afraid breakfast would be the same as I stayed 2 nights, but found out was diffident and delicious. Hotel provided shuttle pick up from station. Staff is so nice. It was really a relaxed trip.

Staff were amazingly hospitable, the private onsen attached to our room was beautiful with an amazing ocean view. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who wishes to see what a quiet Japanese town is like bby the seaside while still getting an amazing luxury experience.

We booked half board so we got breakfast and dinner. There is 5/6 private onsens available 14:30-midnight, upgrades to having an onsen on balcony which is available 24hr and a male and female public onsen. The private onsens were useful for us because of my tattoos. Shampoo and soap provided, towels provided.
