Find the properties with onsen that appeal to you the most
Looking for a property with onsen?
Featuring traditional Japanese hot springs known as ‘onsen’, these hotels allow you to take a relaxing soak in therapeutic geothermal waters. Traditionally, onsens were located outdoors but a number of hotels also offer indoor facilities for private or shared use. The healing properties of each onsen will vary depending on its location, with ‘kuroyu’ black water known for its positive effects on skin.
Great location in Rotorua - close to the park with the natural hot springs, the lake and Eat Street. 5 mins from the bus station if you’re not driving, lots of parking if you are.
The bed was SO COMFORTABLE. I had the best nights sleep I’ve had in 4 weeks traveling through New Zealand.
Probably one of the best Novotels I've stayed in. Very good location with a lot of restaurants and bars at the doorstep and a vibrant food alley. Nice hot spring spas nearby and good number on parking outside.
Best Motel I have stayed in. The staff is great. The place is very clean and in a great location. Room service every day providing clean towels, making the bed and doing the dishes. Room had coffee machine, toaster, microwave, water boiler and fridge. Top experience.
Good property, very spacious and full of light, all necessary thinks provided, check-in was easy. we enjoyed the outdoor in Rotorua, one of our bucket list item is ticked for now. Visited the Maori village and saw the culture show, also visited the hot spring and dipped our feet into the hot water.
Our family of five stayed for two nights and it gave us a great experience. The room was clean and had enough space with a hot tub to experience Rotorua's hot springs. Most importantly, it is good value for money.
Was great to have our own private hot spring spa. The pool was lovely, not a cooling down dip type of pool but a hot spring fed pool. All good with us!
