Located within 600 metres of Matsumoto Station and 3.9 km of The Japan Ukiyo-e Museum, Onyado Nono Matsumoto Natural Hot Spring provides rooms in Matsumoto. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a shared lounge and a 24-hour front desk, along with free WiFi. Private parking is available on site. I liked everything about this hotel but my most favorite part was that we could walk barefoot in the entire hotel, a lot more hotels could do that. The check-in was smooth, our luggage was placed in our room by the staff, staff who was friendly and helpful during our entire stay there. The room was clean and the dimensions perfect, not too small (there's a nook big enough to fit 2 huge suitcases) - plus, we had a view of the train tracks which for us is a plus (if you close the windows the noise from the train is diminished so no problem here). They have this amazing onsen that you can use from 3PM until 10AM (one of the pools is built under the open sky which is the best thing when it comes to onsens); after taking a bath you can check their pretty extensive manga collection (there are chairs and a desk where you can sit and read to your heart's content) and have ice cream (for free). You can have free coffee and juice and also a free late evening snack (soba/ramen mostly). 5 mins walk from the train station. Seriously, I can't imagine what is there not to like about this hotel (considering also the price which is more than fair).

Guest House Raicho offers accommodation in Norikura Kogen in Chubu Sangaku National Park. Mt. Norikura Ski Resort is a 3-minute drive away, and pick-up service to and from the resort is provided every morning. Free WiFi and free parking is available on site. Guests can also enjoy bathing in the sulfur hot-spring, which makes use of pure spring water. Towels and toothbrush are provided at a fee. The receptionist can speak english and good service. They sell rice, food. So we don't feel hungry. This hotel have sharing kitchen. Clean and comfort bed. Good view. We come here when winter season. Oh. Private onsen is beautiful.

Jigokudani Snow Monkey Park is a 15-minute drive away. Breakfast was delicious, the view was very pretty. The futon was extremely comfortable.

Hotel Fuki no Mori is a 20-minute ride from JR Nagiso Train Station on the hotel’s free shuttle. Guests can enjoy walks at the garden or the scenic areas surrounding the hotel. Communal hot spring baths, free WiFi and free parking are also available. A beautiful luxury hotel set in forest outside Tsumago, with hotel shuttle bus access. Everything was perfect- from the warm welcome, being conducted to our room, shown the onsen and dining room, where breakfast and dinner were exceptional (in Keisei style and well worth the additional charge). It was a most relaxing stay after our Magome to Tsumago walk- 6 hours in drenching rain- but still very beautiful to be again on this marvellous walk.

A 7-minute walk from Yudanaka Train Station, Yorozuya features hot spring baths, a hot tub and Japanese-style rooms with a private terrace and private bathroom. It offers karaoke facilities and Japanese cuisine, while free Wi-Fi is provided at the lobby. this was the first visit to YOROZUYA after many years. always an exceptional experience. staff was great! Sakamoto-san was very accommodating in our SAKURA room for meals. will be sure to visit again. maybe stay in KIKU room?!?!

Free Wi-Fi is provided in the lobby area. Great location,large room in relation to other Japanese hotels. Onsen has a ticket indicator so you knew how many people were there so you could choose the quiet times.200y for both washer and dryer.

Free WiFi is available at the entire property and guests can reserve a private open-air bath overlooking the forest. A free shuttle is available from JR Hakuba Train Station, which is a 5-minute drive away and must be reserved at time of booking. Forest views are available from the 2nd floor of the accommodation. The hosts picked us up at the bus terminal and gave us all sorts of local transport info on getting to the different ski resorts. The private onset was awesome!! Bathroom across the hall but still for our private use. The room made good use of space and felt much larger. I wish they did breakfast, but otherwise it was a fantastic stay!

Free Wi-Fi is provided in the lobby area. Everything about Hakuba Alpine Hotel exceed expectations! The staff, room, view, facilities, and location were all exceptional. We will definitely be staying here again next time we are in Hakuba.
