We stayed at Guesthouse Bunk for two nights in mid-May. We were the only guests as this was the low season, but we still had a very fun time. The location was exceptionally peaceful and we enjoyed falling asleep with the sounds of the nearby forest around us. We enjoyed the breakfast each day very much. The area is ski-oriented so there weren't many businesses open. Still, we enjoyed a bit of hiking to nearby onsen towns like Tsubame Onsen. Sasa-san was even kind enough to prepare a curry rice at the last minute when we arrived after we discovered that all of the nearby restaurants were closed.

Surprised by the stuff organised by the hotel during Xmas and the New Year, which we had a good time. Despite visiting the area the first time, we did not face any difficulties thanks to the helpful member of staff. Cosy environment which made us feel like home.
