This is as close to perfection as I've ever experienced. Every detail was in place, it was clean, it was classy, practical, beautiful, beds comfortable, chairs, sofa... everything was comfortable, I was blown away. There is even a full kitchen with bowls, plates, cups, the whole thing, oven, micro, kettle, espresso machine, even a dishwashing machine. Oh AND a washing machine (did some laundry - every hotel room should look like this!). The ONLY thing I missed was that there was no restaurant at the hotel - but may I recommend Fellini's right down the street that had the best risotto. TV in the living room and TV in the bedroom, fastest free WiFi ever (I couldn't believe how fast it uploaded a video!) The luxury of a bathtub AND a big shower is not to be underestimated. Basically - wow! I will definitely be back here if I ever come back to Adelaide. Now on my top 10 list of favorite hotels in the world.

This 5-star hotel offers room service and a 24-hour front desk. The property has a year-round outdoor pool, fitness centre, sauna and terrace. This was a near perfect hotel experience. From letting us keep our bags there whilst we flew to Alice Springs for 3 days to the seamlessness of just actually staying there, it was all excellent. The location is great for both the city and the river. We had a river view room and the view over the Oval, Festival theatre and the river was stunning. I didn't book a room with a balcony as we find we don't use them, but this time I wished that I had done. The bed was comfortable, there were complimentary snacks and a bottle of wine for my birthday arranged by the wonderful concierge, Lavinia. I loved the iPad to control the room and anything else that you needed for your stay. The staff were good without being too obsequious; when the remote broke, we had a new one within 30 mins and a sorry for putting us through that! The casino was huge but didn't impact on our stay, and the bar and restaurant were fab! The mixologist made me the best Cosmopolitan even though it wasn't on the menu. This was also the first hotel to have both a rubbish bin and a recycling bin.

Peninsula Hotel Motel has an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre, a restaurant and bar in Adelaide. The property is around 1.6 km from Largs Beach, 2.8 km from Snowden Beach and 5.8 km from South Australian Maritime Museum. Free WiFi and an ATM are available. The hotel is veryyy cool. The decor and fitout is done really well, the staff are lovely & the restaurant/bar area is really nice too. We wish we were able to stay longer & hang out more.

This was one of the nicest places I've ever stayed and I've travelled a lot! As well as being a few steps from the beach, it simply has everything. Beautiful high standard throughout the property, fully equipped...again to a very high standard, amazing host, just fabulous.
