They organised a delicious dinner for our group and we had friends come to join us which they happily organised. Incredible value for money, the rooms are clean, spacious and beautifully decorated and it is a lovely walk to the Taj Mahal. Breakfast was great as well. We stayed only a single night but I wished it could have been more. One of the nicest places I have stayed.

Best part of this hotel is the location which is very close to east gate of Tajmahal and you can see the peak of Tajmahal from the rooftop. The hotel has so many art frames and sculpture which will a give you a traditional vibes.

Free WiFi is available in the rooms of the property. It was supposed to be an overnight stay for a visit to Taj Mahal, I was expecting a usual tourist trap for 70$ or so. The hotel was ridiculously nice, the kind of place where you'd actually want to spend a vacation. I was pleasantly surprised by the price / quaity ratio, including in-room dining, massage, the guide the hotel arranged for me, etc.

Loved how comfortable the room was and how the hotel is located in a quiet area- an oasis in Agra. The staff were extremely helpful and on it with any request we had and the food was awesome! Lots of people say that Agra is a day tour. If you stay here, you will be happy to spend two to three nights really seeing what the area has to offer. Which is lots. Fetehpur Sikri is a must.

I write this review from a specific perspective — I had arrived in Vrindavan with a group but then stayed a few days on my own. I have been to Vrindavan previously but I was a little nervous about staying solo as a western woman… Vraja can present some challenges for us in regards to attracting attention, even if you are an experienced devotee. I usually stay at MVT so I can walk directly to ISKCON by myself, but it was full and I am SO GLAD I found Shree Krishna Bhakti Ashram instead! It perfectly threads the needle between having comfortable rooms and being peaceful and still in the center of Vrindavan, with the real spirit of Vrindavan and not like some of the newer developments. “Ashram” conjures up thoughts of austerities — and on the same trip I stayed alone in a Math that I couldn’t handle alone… but the rooms here are incredibly comfortable and provide things that seem luxurious in an ashram, especially for the price. I had a king-sized bed with comfortable mattresses, multiple pillows, and duvets — no fuzzy brown blankets … A wardrobe, a table and chairs for sitting, a KETTLE and tea/coffee cups with some hot drink packets and even digestive biscuits!!! Also an amazing ceiling fan, real towels in the washroom, a shower head providing hot water with water pressure instead of a bucket… etc. There’s even a TV with cable, I believe, but I did not get a chance to use it. there’s also an enclosed colonial-style veranda looking out onto a lawn which is a peaceful place to enjoy your beverage. The ashram features a small temple in the back which seems to offer small aartis daily, but this really seemed like more of a guest house than a residential ashram. anyways here is why you should choose this place as a solo woman — there is always security and the staff are AMAZING and super helpful! I booked specifically based on other Booking reviews that expressed this.

I was amazed to see their dedication for hospitality. I would say if you are looking to stay in Lucknow this one is NO-BRAINER.
