Absolutely loved this unique accommodation! Amazing balance between history and modernism- most pieces inside the apartment harvested from an old farm, however bathrooms and kitchen are freshly renovated with some unique elements and heated natural stone floors. The host was super friendly and provided us with tons of advice and information on what/how/when to do around. Felt like an amazing touch - even the printed info sheets were personalised for us. Location-wise it’s amazing for long walks, village stroll and forest rides. Our dog was also warmly welcomed, so we wont hesitate to bring him over again :)

The place has recently been renovated to a high standard. All guest areas look great. My room (11) is perfect for a sole traveller for one night. Comfy bed, very nice shower. TV and tea/coffee facilities. Good wi-fi throughout the premises. The ladies of the establishment are clearly the workhorses here! The lady that stepped in to sort out the check-in issue was great. She hit the spot and couldn't do enough to make me feel welcome. Waitzingers is a lovely place to stay. I wouldn't hesitate to revisit with friends/family. Overall: fair value, relaxing atmosphere and comfortable with nice food.
